Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

Vibe Guard helps people building with AI see their usage and catch risky actions before they cause damage. This policy explains, in plain language, what the Vibe Guard apps (iPhone, Mac, and the browser extension) do and do not do with your data. It is provided by BTS Innovations LLC.

The short version: Vibe Guard runs on your own devices. You sign in with an account so your tools link to you — we store your email and your usage summaries, and nothing more. Your keys and your code stay on your device. We never sell your data, and we never store your prompts or code.

Your account

To use Vibe Guard you sign in with an account. We collect and store your email address and the authentication credentials needed to sign you in (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase). This is used only to identify your account and link your devices, meter, and browser extension to you. We never use it for advertising or profiling, and we never sell it.

What the app reads

To show your usage, Vibe Guard reads token counts from one or more of: the local session logs of your AI coding tools on a computer you use (Claude Code, Codex, Claude in Xcode, and similar); your provider's official usage API using a key you enter; and, for the browser extension, the content of the page you are on so it can flag risky actions, loops, and hidden prompt-injection. Page reading happens on your device to show a warning — the page content is not sent to us.

Your keys

Any provider or model key you enter — including a key for your own AI "brain" — is stored only on your device. Keys are used solely to call that provider directly from your device. We never receive, see, or store your keys.

Your account usage totals

The meter on your computer sends only summary numbers — token totals, estimated cost, and plan-limit and context percentages — to our backend, keyed to your account, so your phone, browser, and dashboard can display them. This contains no prompts and no code. Only you, signed into your account, can read them.

Payments

If you subscribe to Vibe Guard, payment is handled entirely by the payment processor — Apple through the App Store on iPhone, or Stripe on the web. Vibe Guard never sees or stores your card number. We only see whether your subscription is active.

Notifications

If you turn on limit alerts, notifications are generated and delivered locally by your device.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or creditworthiness/lending decisions. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not store your prompts or your code.

Data deletion

Remove the app or the browser extension to delete on-device data. To delete your account and the usage summaries tied to it, sign out and email us — we will delete your account data on request.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version here.
